Louisville’s basketball program has a good chance of winning two coveted talents

The Louisville basketball program has a big season ahead of them. They are trying to prove that they can turn their program around quickly. Winning 12 games in just two seasons is not what this program is about and new coach Pat Kelsey knows that. He will be looking to add new players.

The quickest way to get the Cardinals back on their feet is to bring great recruits into the program. Several recruits have Louisville on their final school list. According to a prominent recruiting analyst, the Cardinals have an excellent chance of landing both coveted talents.

On3’s Joe Tipton believes the Cardinals have a good chance of getting both Tre Singleton and Kaden Magwood. Singleton is a three-star prospect out of Jeffersonville, Indiana, and Magwood is a four-star combo guard out of Charlotte, North Carolina.

Of the two, Magwood is the higher rated recruit. With his skill set, he would be a really good fit for the Cardinals. He can shoot well from the outside, which is what the Cardinals need. He can also pass the ball well and has some pretty good skills as well.

Singleton also has the ideal size to be a combo player. He stands 6’1″, weighs 215 pounds, and moves well for his size. He can play at the small or power forward position. Singleton also has time to improve his recruiting ranking. He’s more of a developmental project, but he’s worth investing time into.

Louisville needs to make sure they get those two guys. A couple of five-star recruits are also interesting to the Cardinals. The combination of the coaching and NIL collective needs to work together to get the best possible combination of recruits.
