Loose Women star in talks for “I’m a Celeb Jungle”

Loose Women star in talks for “I’m a Celeb Jungle”

TikTok sensation and newest addition to Loose Women, GK Barry, could soon be swapping the panel for the jungle. The influencer, who became a hit with her relatable content during lockdown, is reportedly in the final stages of talks to join the cast of ITV’s I’m a Celebrity.

Fresh from her debut as the youngest ever panellist on Loose Women at the age of 24, a source told the Mirror: “She’s a big personality… she would be a great addition to I’m a Celeb.”

GK Barry, who turns 25 this week and whose real name is Grace Keeling, is not one to shy away from a challenge. Last year she bravely raced across the Austrian Alps on a zip wire alongside ex-footballer David Ginola for Channel 4’s Don’t Look Down special, Stand Up to Cancer.

With a fanbase of over 4.5 million online followers, Grace has won hearts with her bold lifestyle videos and her podcast Saving Grace, which features stars such as lioness Ella Toone and TV favourites Rylan Clark and Rob Rinder.

GK has also teamed up with internet celebrity Nella Rose, who was eliminated early from the jungle last season, to present the Dragons’ Den-esque YouTube series Boss Pitches, reports the Mirror.

She once confessed: “I’m so embarrassed talking to friends, so it’s crazy what I say on a podcast, but it’s not me saying it, it’s GK Barry.”

Coronation Street’s Alan Halsall, known for his role as Tyrone Dobbs, is another name being discussed for this year’s I’m a Celeb programme. However, a spokesperson for the show was cagey, saying: “Any names suggested for I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! are pure speculation.”

This week, Grace was part of the Loose Women jury alongside Kaye Adams (61), Denise Welch (66) and former Saturdays member Frankie Bridge (35) and joked that Frankie was no longer the youngest on the jury.

“But you know what? I always wanted to be one of The Saturdays,” Grace confessed, speaking about how she got into social media, which she “slipped into.”

“When I grew up, I didn’t do GCSEs because I thought, ‘I’m just Frankie,'” she explained hilariously, to which Frankie replied, “That seemed like a double-edged compliment!”
