The newest Bachelor has been announced and you might be doing a double take as this sought-after gentleman has only recently graced our television screens.
Locklan “Locky” Gilbert will be the man at the center of the 2020 season, and while the dating show typically involves some dangerous waters to navigate, this man is a proven survivor.
Yes, you’ve seen the handsome 30-year-old before, although probably less dressed up than in his latest pictures.
Locky first appeared in the jungle. Survivors in 2017, then again earlier this year when he returned for the 2020 All stars seasons.
Although he was the 13th to be eliminated in the endurance competition, the fitness fanatic obviously hopes to have better luck in the love game.
The prospective bachelor is an experienced cave diver, base jumper, mountaineer, athlete and enthusiastic traveler and is also the CEO of a travel company.
“Someone to share memories with”
Locky is adventurous and is looking for an accomplice to accompany him on his travels.
“I really want to find love,” he says.
“I’m pretty happy with my life right now. I’m having these crazy adventures, but I’d like to have someone to share the memories with.”
“I want to find that one best friend to spend the rest of my life with.”
He has a world map tattooed on his side and his Instagram is a tribute to adventure, although it seems to be a first for the globetrotter as he takes on 20 hopeful ladies.
And what is he looking for in a happy woman?
Predictably, the soon-to-be national heartthrob is after a woman who has a wild sense of adventure, is determined, and loves the great outdoors as much as she will hopefully love Locky.

Locky already has a legion of die-hard fans, including Osher Gunsberg, who announced the news on Instagram.
The presenter is not alone. Other fans are flooding Locky’s Instagram with different reactions to the news.
“Throw a rose here, Locky!” wrote one lady.
“I AM SO EXCITED,” shared another.
Others were not so enthusiastic, their Survivors Held takes part in a dating show.
