Local brewery celebrates International Dog Day

GRAND JUNCTION, Colorado (KJCT) – Ramblebine Brewing Company has decided to put man’s best friend in the spotlight on International Dog Day.

“We are a company that loves dogs, so we have made a special effort to make this a part of our company culture,” says Rob James, co-founder and CEO of Ramblebine Brewery.

The brewery offered a special deal: anyone who bought a special branded dog toy – modeled after their Junction lager – would get a free beer. Their relationship with dog owners is nothing new.

“I think beer, breweries and dogs just go together,” James said. “People, especially in Colorado and on the Western Slope, like to sit outside and have their furry family members next to them.”

They also celebrated their long-standing partnership with Underdog Animal Rescue, a nonprofit organization focused on rescue, foster care and adoption in Utah and Southern Colorado.

“They are fantastic. We love working with them because they have such a clear vision of their goal that we can support,” said James.

For Ramblebine members, every day is National Dog Day.

“We are very fortunate that the community has embraced what we are trying to do here.”
