LL Cool J is “open” to producing a documentary or biopic about his life.

The Rock the Bells rapper told Entertainment Tonight that while he doesn’t mind the idea, he’s in no rush to do a project about his life because he finds the prospect rather vain and boring.

“I’m open to it, but I’m not going to lie, it bores me a little bit,” he explained. “I don’t know, I have mixed feelings about it, I don’t know. I just have a lot of creative stuff to do and I feel like I could do a lot. It’s not that I’m against it. I’m open to a documentary, I’m open to the idea of ​​doing a biopic, but it just doesn’t appeal to me.”

“It’s like turning around in front of the mirror in jeans and looking at myself. I don’t know what that means, I don’t do that often.”

The hip-hop star, whose real name is James Smith, further stressed that his life has been anything but boring and that there is a lot to tell in a biopic.

His friend Snoop Dogg is currently filming a biopic of his own and recently expressed interest in producing one about LL.

In response to Snoop’s comments, the musician revealed that they had “briefly” discussed the idea, but then diverted the subject with a joke.

“Only on the condition that he actually plays me,” he joked. “I need Snoop to play me in the biopic. If you do that, you can produce it!”
