Kelly reveals in an exclusive Q&A who she wants to harass at the event
In an interview with Disney, Kelly talked about what she is looking forward to this weekend.
Ryan Seacrest will host the ceremony and present Kelly with her Disney Legend Award. Kelly has something to say about the occasion.
The Disney Legend Award honors visionaries and creatives who inspire the company to achieve excellence. This year, Kelly was honored alongside Jamie Lee Curtis and Harrison Ford, among others.
In an interview with the Walt Disney Company, Kelly responded that receiving the award from Ryan Seacrest, one of her former co-hosts and good friends, was “very special.”
Kelly replied: “We can only give and receive awards between each other, so this is very special and gives me the chance to harass him on a public stage, which I never get tired of.”
Kelly recently had Ryan co-host on LIVE while Mark was out of town, and she never missed an opportunity to crack jokes and “harass” her good friend.
Mark has fitness coach Marc Santa Maria on the show
In one of the last new segments of the season, Mark had fitness trainer Marc Santa Maria of Crunch Fitness on the show.
He stopped by the show to share some basic drills that can help beginners this summer.
In the “Summer School: Exercise Basics” segment of Live with Marc Santa Maria, he demonstrated how to work the core and upper body before moving on to lower body exercises.
New episodes of Live with Kelly and Mark will premiere on September 3.
