The international half of the 2024 Little League World Series comes to an end with a thrilling duel between Chinese Taipei and Venezuela. The Asia-Pacific region meets Latin America. It is expected to be a hard-fought clash between two of the world’s best players for a place in the tournament final.
Chinese Taipei enters the competition as arguably the best team in the entire LLWS, having defeated their opponents 32-3. The Asia-Pacific representative defeated Japan 3-1 to advance to the international final on Wednesday, and will look to continue their dominance this weekend.
The Latin American team is also impressive: Venezuela has scored 27 runs in five games. However, the team has also conceded seven during this period, which shows a slight weakness that Chinese Taipei can exploit.
