Little League player hit by ball is quickest to console pitcher who hit him

The 2024 Little League World Series Home Run Derby will test the hitting skills of some of the best hitters at this year’s baseball exhibition in South Williamsport, Pennsylvania.
The Home Run Derby follows a fairly simple set of rules. Each batter in the first round has 90 seconds to hit as many home runs as possible. The players with the top 10 scores from that round advance to the second round, where the 90-second time frame is repeated. In the second round, the batters are played in ascending order from the lowest total score from the first round to the highest total score.
The winner of the Home Run Derby will be determined in the third and final round. The top five players from the second round will again bat in ascending order. Each player will again be given 90 seconds and the player with the highest total score in this round will be crowned champion.

When can I watch the Little League World Series Home Run Derby?
The 2024 Little League World Series Home Run Derby will be held on Thursday, August 22, at Volunteer Stadium.
However, since the event takes place parallel to Venezuela’s 3-2 victory over Japan in international competition, the Home Run Derby will be broadcast in full on Friday, August 23.

Little League World Series: Championship seasons
The 2024 Little League World Series is nearing its final games. The U.S. and international championship games will take place on Saturday. The winners of those competitions will qualify for the LLWS championship on Sunday, while the losers will play for third place.
