The stage is set for the Little League World Series championship.
Chinese Taipei emerged victorious from the international group with a 4-1 victory over Venezuela. On the USA side, Florida eliminated Texas in a dramatic 10-7 victory.

Chinese Taipei’s winning streak did not end at the International Championship.
Another strong performance from pitcher Lai Cheng-Xi led the team to a 4-1 victory.
Chinese Taipei scored runs in the first, third and fifth innings despite allowing only three hits. Cheng-Xi played 5.1 innings and allowed only three hits and one run, striking out 12 batters.
Chinese Taipei reaches the title game for the first time since 2009.
Florida was always behind, but was never out of the race.
The Lake Mary boys avenged an earlier loss to Southwest with a 10-7 win to claim the U.S. title. Florida trailed 4-0 after three innings and went into the fifth down 4-1. However, some heroics in the final two innings led the team to nine runs and a win.

The two teams combined for 12 runs in the final two innings, but it is Florida that will represent the USA in the championship.
The Southeast Region will be in the title game for the first time since 2012. Florida has not produced a U.S. champion since 2003.
The Little League World Series championship game will be played Sunday at 3:00 p.m. ET.
