The CJN Podcast Network presents its first original radio play. Justice: A Holocaust Zombie Storyon August 31st at the Ashkenaz Festival in Toronto.
The comprehensive seven-part podcast miniseries – produced in collaboration with the Ashkenaz Foundation and the Dandelion Theatre – aims to provide unconventional, sophisticated education about the Holocaust that also shines a spotlight on media disinformation, conspiracy theories and political polarization.
The plot centers on young Canadian Kat, who in her twenties discovers her Jewish heritage and quickly packs her bags to meet her estranged family in Berlin – only to be thrown into the middle of a growing global crisis when zombified Holocaust victims rise from the mass graves of former concentration camps. As the German government panics and anti-Semitic conspiracy theorists run amok online, Kat realizes that no one is listening to the victims themselves, one of whom is not only peaceful but mysteriously attracted to her.
The entire series will be published for free starting August 31. To support creative storytelling and independent journalism, please consider making a tax-deductible donation to The CJN.
