Airbnb is renting out an incredible property: Polly Pocket’s full-fledged compact system.
Have you seen “Barbie” and thought, “I would love to live in a life-sized dollhouse?”
How about a Polly Pocket house? Would that work?
According to a press release from Airbnb, Airbnb has partnered with Mattel to create a scaled-down version of the Polly Pocket Slumber Party Fun Treasure Chest in Massachusetts that Airbnb users can rent.
“While Polly is on an epic adventure celebrating her 35th birthday, guests can stay in her two-story home and explore toy life – where a bag full of nostalgia awaits,” the press release said.
Does the Polly Pocket Airbnb really exist?
Yes, it is.
The 42-foot-tall, life-size replica of the Clamshell House is located in Littleton, Massachusetts.
“Guests can request one of three nights from September 12-14 for four guests each at a rate of $89 per person,” the press release states.
Guests can try on Polly Pocket-themed accessories and clothing and search their refrigerator for a midnight snack.
The press release states that interested parties can submit a booking request for an overnight stay at airbnb.com/pollypocket starting at 9:00 a.m. on August 21 until the request deadline on August 29 at 2:59 a.m.
According to Airbnb, guests are responsible for transportation to and from Littleton. Travel expenses are not included.
