LEGO Harry Potter 76437 The Burrow – Book signing announced

LEGO Harry Potter designer George Gilliatt will be signing copies of 76437 The Burrow Collector’s Edition at both LEGO House and the LEGO Flagship Store in Leicester Square.

While the latest Wizarding World set sold direct to consumer has yet to be officially revealed by the LEGO Group, we’ve already seen almost everything there is to see of the model thanks to images posted by a third-party source. An event listing on LEGO.com has now also revealed that the set’s designer, George Gilliatt, will be signing copies of the model at the LEGO Store in Leicester Square on launch day.

The listing, in turn, confirms that 76437 The Burrow Collectors’ Edition will be released on September 1 for LEGO Insiders and September 4 for everyone else. George will be at the LEGO flagship store in London from 12pm-2pm BST and buyers can purchase a maximum of two copies of the 2,405-piece set per person.

But that’s not the only place you can get your copy of 76437 The Burrow Collectors’ Edition signed by the designer: In a now-deleted Instagram post, LEGO House confirmed that George and fellow designers Santiago Carillo and Peter Kjærgaard will be attending a book signing in Billund on September 5 (from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time).

76437 The Burrow Collectors’ Edition is the third version of the Weasley wizarding house and by far the largest yet. In addition to a fully enclosed house that opens to reveal a detailed interior, the model includes 10 minifigures: Harry, Ron and the entire Weasley clan, from Arthur, Molly, Ginny, Fred and George to Percy, Bill and Charlie (the latter only appeared in the Harry Potter books).

I like to think of myself as a journalist first and a LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism, however, runs through my veins like some kind of strange literary blood – the kind that will no doubt cause stress-induced heart failure one day. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
