LEGO Harry Potter 40695 Borgin and Burkes: Floo Network revealed

LEGO Harry Potter 40695 Borgin and Burkes: Floo Network revealed

It’s time for the second LEGO Harry Potter reveal of the day, as a new gift with purchase has suddenly appeared in the official online store.

The Australian online store has unveiled 40695 Borgin and Burkes: Floo Network, including a new Lucius Malfoy minifigure following his last minifigure in 75978 Diagon Alley. It appears to be the same minifigure, but without the leg print.

The model is made up of 190 pieces and has a list value of $29.99, but that’s in Australian dollars, so don’t worry too much about the value. It’s a gift with purchase anyway and we don’t have confirmation yet on the threshold or offer period.

The builds include a fireplace that is connected to the Floo network and has a function that allows the minifigure to be turned into the fireplace and hidden from view. A small stack of shelves and products stands to the side and can be connected to the main model. More specifically, this stack of shelves contains the Hand of Glory instrument.

This follows a second reveal of 76437 The Burrow Collectors’ Edition today, the source of which has since been removed. The odd timing of this GWP’s appearance on the official online store suggests that the two LEGO Harry Potter sets may be connected, and the description confirms this as well. Notably, it only says that it complements it, rather than being directly connected to it.

It’s worth remembering that the last big LEGO Harry Potter set – 76417 Gringotts Wizarding Bank Collectors’ Edition – came with a gift with purchase, but 40695 Borgin and Burkes: Floo Network isn’t quite as clearly connected to the next big set as 40598 Gringotts Vault was last year.

We’re still waiting for more official details on 76437 The Burrow Collectors’ Edition and 40695 Borgin and Burkes: Floo Network and will let you know as soon as we know more about both sets.

LEGO has been a part of my life since I was a child. It all started when my brother left me 7657 AT-ST. It followed me through my early years, through school and eventually through my journalism studies. I still proudly display my entire collection, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favorite LEGO Group theme. Outside of Brick Fanatics, I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
