GOOD Morning Football’s Kyle Brandt went on a heated rant against Chicago Bears rookie star quarterback Caleb Williams.
Brandt raved about a stunning play involving the 2024 No. 1 overall pick during an NFL preseason game over the weekend.
The NFL Network program put together a segment that covered the takeaways from Week 2 of the preseason.
While on the road with host Jamie Erdahl and Akbar Gbajabiamila, the 45-year-old Brandt revealed that he and his Family to Seattle for the weekend.
The NFL analyst said his nieces and nephews asked him, “What are the greatest and most memorable throws of the modern era?”
Brandt revealed that he had shown them a clip of Aaron Rodgers’ touchdown throw over the middle to Greg Jennings in Super Bowl 45 and a video from Eli Manning between two defenders to Mario Manningham in the 46th Super Bowl.
And Brandt then said he showed a clip of 2022 Heisman Trophy winner Williams rolling to his left and throwing a 45-yard pass to fellow rookie Rome Odunze in the Bears’ preseason win over the Cincinnati Bengals last Saturday.
“You want perhaps the best throw of all time?” asked Brandt.
“Let’s go to the 2024 preseason. You have to understand, that’s Caleb Williams doing a reverse pivot and throwing across his body to another rookie.
“These are some of the litters you’ve ever seen.”

Brandt then expressed his contempt for Social Media Users who downplayed Williams’ abilities during the game just because it happened in the preseason.
“I tell you, not police the people who (are looking forward to the pre-season games),” he added.
Brandt continued his tirade, saying that these same fans on social media are “the kind of people” who ruin people’s moods in other areas of life.
“These are the people who go to a magic show and spend the whole show thinking, ‘This isn’t real,'” he said.
“You can get your favorite dessert on Instagram and as soon as you cut it, they say, “(That’s) 1,800 calories.” Shut up!
“I finally bought my dream home and you take the key and take a picture and they say, ‘Wait until the property taxes come due.'” Shut up!”
Erdahl and Gbajabiamila were seen laughing throughout the tirade.
“This won’t spoil my enthusiasm. It’s okay to be excited now,” Brandt concluded his Williams preseason opener.
“Go ahead and enjoy it.
“It’s fun.”
Williams scored his first touchdown of the preseason with a 7-yard run into the end zone late in the second quarter.
He completed 6 of 13 passes for 75 yards.
In their last preseason game, the Bears will face the Kansas City Chiefs.
