Kirsten Dunst sings “Bring It On” during the screening of the cult film

Kirsten Dunst surprised her fans at Cinespia’s double screening of “Girls United” and “The Virgin Suicides” over the weekend.

The actress, who played Torrance Shipman in the 2000 cult classic, introduced the film at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery on Saturday, August 17, greeting fans with a “Let’s go Toros!”

“I’m TT-Torrance, your Captain Torrance!” she said in a video shared by filmmakers and Rodarte founders Kate and Laura Mulleavy. “Oh my god, guys, this is the craziest thing I’ve ever experienced in my life. I’m so overwhelmed.”

In the video shared by Kaer and Laura Mulleavy, Dunst also proved that she still remembered the film’s iconic cheer by clapping and singing along loudly.

“Hate us because we’re beautiful, but we don’t like you either, we’re cheerleaders, we’re cheerleaders!” Dunst says in the video.

A cult teen film, “Girls United” is about the Toros, a successful high school cheerleading squad led by cheerleading captain Torrance Shipman, who discovers that his previous captain stole all of the perfectly choreographed routines of an East Compton High School cheerleading squad.

In addition to Dunst, the film starred Gabrielle Union as Isis, captain of the Clovers cheerleading squad, Eliza Dushku as Missy Pantone, and Jesse Bradford as Cliff Pantone.
