Kelly Ripa And Mark Consuelos have spoken publicly about their sex life more than once, but their latest confession shocked some people.
In a clip from a recent episode of Live with Kelly and MarkKelly, 53, told the audience that a study was conducted that said, “For more pleasure during sex, you should eat first.” The All my children The alumnus then joked, “Apparently I’ve been doing it wrong all these years.”
Kelly further explained that she was absolutely against eating before the act.
“You know, I have a very strict rule about not eating,” she said as Mark, 53, sat next to her at the news desk. “He knows if we go out to dinner and I order anything more than a reasonable salad, he’s totally depressed. He’s depressed. He says, ‘Are you sure you want the burger?’ I say, ‘I’m absolutely sure.'”
Mark jokingly quipped, “Dessert?!” Kelly admitted that Mark was “very sad” about her period.
“It is said that gentle caresses are not as satisfying when you are hungry,” Kelly read from her essay. “There is a gut hormone that drives the motivation to eat, and increased food intake has been inextricably linked to feelings of pleasure. That is why it is better to eat before becoming intimate.”
However, the results of the study did not change her mind on the matter and she stated that she continues to “stick with (her) salad.”
During an episode of LiveMark confessed that he and Kelly were surprised by their daughter during sex, Lola Consuelos.
“She’s so excited to be living with us again because it’s her last semester of college,” Mark said during the episode. “She’s not going back to her apartment, she’s staying with us. And you know what she does now? The door in our bedroom is closed, no knocking, she just walks in and says, ‘Hey girls!'”
Mark revealed that he had to have a frank conversation with Lola about knocking before entering a room in the house. “I said, ‘Lola, I don’t want you to take this the wrong way. I’m so pleased you’re home. We’ve missed you. You’re the heart of this family. You’re so funny and just amazing – but you have to knock.'”
“Because at this point, whatever you bring into it is your problem,” Kelly chimed in, to which Mark replied, “So, be warned, Lola Consuelos. Because this week is a crazy week, right? Yes, it’s January 30th. This week is going to be crazy!”
In addition to Lola, 23, Kelly and Mark have children together Michael And Joaquin Consuelos. All of her children have now moved out to study or focus on their careers. Lola currently lives in London, but she was on hand to celebrate her mother’s latest achievement – her being named a Disney Legend at the Disney Legends Ceremony on Sunday 11 August.
