Kelly Ripa knew exactly how to react to her daughter Lola’s NSFW photo

Kelly Ripa is not a normal mom, she’s a low-key mom. Or at least she’s fully into the meme when it comes to her daughter Lola.

Ripa, who has adult children Michael, 27, Lola, 23, and Joaquin, 21, with her husband Mark Consuelos, proved she is more than aware of the latest internet trend when she commented on one of Lola’s recent social media posts.

Lola uploaded a series of photos to her Instagram account last week – including two shots of herself sunbathing, one of them without a bikini top.

“Is this modest?” she captioned the carousel of images, referring to TikTok influencer Jools Lebron’s iconic “very modest, very mindful” video that has gone extremely viral.

Ripa, for her part, commented: “Very thoughtful.”

Ripa and Consuelos married in 1996 after meeting on the set of All my childrenhave shared a few NSFW stories of their own over the years. In fact, the couple — who have long been open about their close relationship with their children — have detailed their most embarrassing family moments over time.

In 2019, theLive with Kelly and Mark The presenters remembered the time when the then 16-year-old Lola surprised her parents having sex.

“‘You just ruined my birthday! And my life!'” Ripa quoted her daughter as saying as she told the audience of her talk show at the time about the embarrassing encounter. “‘And I used to see in color, and now everything is gray!'”

But Lola is not the only one who accidentally witnessed her parents’ private time – as Ripa and Consuelos discover at brunch the next morning, Michael and Joaquin were also unlucky enough to experience the same thing.

“The other kids say, ‘Oh yeah, remember that one -?’ They all started telling stories about how they (got in),” Consuelos joked. “And I ask: Is anyone knocking on this house?”

“Nobody knocks!” Ripa shouted in agreement. “Nobody knocks in our house!”
