Kelly Clarkson has great news for fans of her iconic Kellyoke covers – they will be played on satellite radio!
In her daytime talk show, the original American Idol takes covers of songs from every genre imaginable and makes them her own, often bringing the original artist to tears or making them swear never to sing their own song again. Fans have begged Kelly to release the covers, but so far they have only been on The Kelly Clarkson Show and her YouTube channel. (She released an album of Kellyoke covers in 2022, but it only has 6 tracks.)
Fans with SiriusXM subscriptions can now listen to the songs on Kelly’s channel (Channel 12 on SiriusXM). Kelly shared the news with her fans on Instagram. She said, “I’m so excited to share the Kellyokes. That’s the one question I get asked the most… Kelly Clarkson Connection was the perfect place to do it. I mean, it’s my station, so why not put them here for my fans to hear? People have been asking me nonstop. We’re starting with several, but we’ll start weaving them in here and there. This will be the place where you can hear the Kellyokes that were mixed and mastered specifically for this station.”
It’s safe to say that the reaction was mixed. Some fans were excited about the news, while others, especially outside the US, were less enthusiastic, leaving comments like:

- “Kelly, your real fans don’t want this, it’s on YouTube.”
- “No, I want to release it on vinyl 😂”
- “Can you put it on Spotify for non-American fans?”
- “OMG, THIS IS UNBELIEVABLE! 💓”
- “This alone is a reason to subscribe to Sirius. Their covers are incredible. I agree with the other comments, post them everywhere! They deserve to be heard over and over again.”
