The second season of Celebrity Race Across the World started last night (Wednesday, August 14th) – and Kelly Brook is already giving viewers something to talk about.

Celebrity Race Around the World: What Did Kelly Brook Do?
Last night the celebrities completed the first leg of their race around the world.
In this series, the celebrities and their partners run through South America. The finish line is in the south of Chile.
Taking part in the series are Jeff Brazier and son Freddie, Scott Mills and husband Sam, actor Kola Bokinni and his cousin Mary and of course Kelly and her husband Jeremy.
Throughout the first episode, it seemed like Kelly wasn’t in a hurry.
Although the show was about racing, Kelly seemed more interested in sightseeing and relaxing.
However, her blasé attitude towards the challenge seemed to upset some viewers.
Viewers of Celebrity Race Across the World criticise Kelly Brook
Fans of the show criticized Kelly on Twitter and her apparent lack of urgency during last night’s episode.
“After five minutes, Kelly Brook is already getting on my nerves,” tweeted one fan.
“According to Kelly Brook it’s ‘Celebrity Take Your Time Across The World,'” wrote another.
“Kelly, this is #CelebrityRaceAcrossTheWorld “No free holiday,” groaned a third.
“Kelly is going to get a harsh reality check halfway through the race. This is not a free holiday,” said another.
But despite a slow start, Kelly and her husband were actually the first to reach the first checkpoint!
“You can’t blame Kelly, she’s just living her life to the fullest,” said one viewer.
Kelly and Jeremy
Kelly and Jeremy first met in 2015 after Kelly split from Gladiators star David McIntosh.
They got married in Sardinia in 2022.
“I found someone who can keep up with me and the lifestyle I love,” Kelly told The Mirror in 2022.
“It’s the combination of a very exciting life and moments where it’s nice to stay at home, watch Netflix and walk the dog. It’s about finding that balance,” she added.

Celebrity Race Across the World continues on Wednesday 21 August at 9pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
