Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom recently crossed a daring item off his bucket list and captured detailed footage of the entire adventure.

The two icons enjoyed each other’s company in Sardinia, Italy over the weekend, and what better way to spend a romantic vacation than by jumping out of a helicopter straight into the sea? The “Firework” singer shared video footage on Instagram on Monday (August 12) showing a successful jump and lifelong memories.

The first photo from the epic merry-go-round shows Perry and Bloom mid-jump, preparing to hit the choppy waters below. The next clip in the series shows what happened before the unforgettable moment when they exited the plane, both seemingly excited and well prepared for the jump. After a short countdown, the pair fearlessly shot through the air and into the sea, filming their descent as they broke the ocean’s surface with smiles on their faces.

Mission: accomplished!

The third and final photo in the series shows how high in the sky the couple was when they jumped out of the helicopter, and features a beautiful mountain backdrop to accompany this iconic moment.

Perry captioned the photo with a sweet message to her husband: “Just as the stars are in the sky, you and I will find each other in every single life.”
