Karen Gillan takes Girlboss to a whole new level in the lead role Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle alongside some very well-known names, including Jack Black, Kevin Hart, Nick Jonas and Dwayne Johnson aka “The Rock”.

The actress raved about how much fun they all had playing pranks on each other on set in the middle of the Hawaiian jungle, but she also reflected on The “gross kiss” with The Rock in the movie.

Speaking to Be, the actress said that despite the very explicit kiss on screen, the two handled it very professionally and Karen did not find it intimidating at all.

“He made me feel so comfortable,” she said Be“It was more intimidating on paper than in real life.

“But I think when you put yourself in that position where it’s supposed to be such a gross kiss, it kind of eliminates all the nerve-wracking elements of the experience because you’re both really vulnerable in that moment.”

But when you talk about what it was Strictly speaking that was a completely different story.

“I could imagine that he is a wonderful kisser,” said the 30-year-old, laughing.

But maybe not in this context?

“I mean, I just didn’t experience that (wonderful side),” Karen joked. “And he didn’t experience it from me either.”

And although she has had an impressive career with roles in films such as Doctor Who And Guardians of the GalaxyThe Scottish-born actress had to pinch herself as she worked next to her“Jumanji” co-stars.

“It was incredible,” she said. “I kept looking around the set and thinking, ‘How did I end up here with all these comedic geniuses?’ But it was exactly what you would imagine, just so funny.”

“And in this creative atmosphere, I felt really welcome and part of the team. Overall, it was a hilarious, fun experience.”
