Kamala Harris announces stunning cash bomb – over half a billion dollars have been raised since Biden's exit

Vice President Kamala Harris announced that her team has raised more than half a billion dollars through her campaign since taking office as president Joe Biden’s Campaign in July – just a month ago.

Following the Democratic National Convention (DNC), which began on Thursday evening with a much-praised acceptance speech by the Vice President Kamala HarrisHarris for President released a campaign memo on Sunday morning that included a staggering sum for her war chest:

The convention was our biggest week of organizing since the campaign began; volunteers have signed up for nearly 200,000 shifts since Monday.

In the lead-up to the convention, our campaign hosted a weekend of outreach, with volunteers completing 10,000 shifts and contacting over 1 million voters. The convention itself helped build on that momentum, generating nearly 200,000 new volunteer shifts since the convention. On Thursday and Friday alone, volunteers signed up for 90,000 shifts, motivated by the extraordinary excitement surrounding the Vice President’s speech.

We head into September with a virtual army of volunteers ready to do the hard work of talking to their neighbors, friends, and colleagues. Meanwhile, the infrastructure at Donald Trump’s campaign site remains incredibly sparse.

In just over a month since launching our campaign, Team Harris-Walz has raised $540 million – a record for any campaign in history.

Not only are our volunteers doing their job, but this week we received unprecedented grassroots donations. We officially surpassed the $500 million mark just before Vice President Harris’ acceptance speech on Thursday night. Immediately following her speech, we had our best hour of fundraising since launch day.

The memo, titled “Team Harris-Walz Builds on Convention Momentum,” goes on to say, “We are not letting up on our campaign after the convention,” and lays out detailed plans for the campaign this week and beyond.

In addition, Trump’s campaign team released a memo this weekend from Trump’s own polling firm predicting a three-percentage-point increase for Vice President Harris as a result of the convention.
