Jujutsu Kaisen fan develops real prison kingdom with terrifying animatronic eyes

Jujutsu Kaisen fan develops real prison kingdom with terrifying animatronic eyes

Among the many powerful and terrifying objects in the Jujutsu Kaisen series, the special-class cursed object known as the Prison Realm is in a class of its own. Now, this all-powerful cube has been recreated in real life, thanks to a talented anime fan.

A highly skilled 3D artist and engineer known on Instagram as “derailed.3d” shares the work on his real-life interpretation of the infamous prison cube from Jujutsu Kaisen. The Prison Realm is the cursed object used to imprison Satoru Gojo during the franchise’s “Shibuya Incident” storyline. This highly cursed object traps the victim inside and the only way out is to be freed from the outside or die. However, no one trapped in the Prison Realm ages or starves, as time is different in the cursed object than in the outside world. Therefore, escaping by dying in the Prison Realm means taking one’s own life.

Jujutsu Kaisen star recommends a Shonen Jump hit series before anime debut

A well-known actor from the popular anime “Jujutsu Kaisen” wants fans to read an underrated Shonen Jump series before it gets its own animation debut.

In addition to his Instagram account, derailed.3d is sharing the progress of the real-world version of the Prison Realm on Reddit. The work-in-progress version shows the gray-colored sides of the cube with fully functional animatronic eyeballs. Although the eyes cannot blink, derailed.3d plans to make them blink for a future project, and this little project is just an interim step. Although it is touted as a small side project, the Prison Realm project requires a lot of programming work to allow the eyes to move independently as if they were alive.

According to derailed.3d, the outside of the Prison Realm cube will be painted red to make him look like Gojo when he is trapped inside. The current gray color that matches his inactivity is due to the materials he used. Although he bought a mini plushie of Gojo to trap inside the cube, he isn’t sure if it will actually fit and may have to trim it down. Some users are encouraging derailed.3d to dress up as Gojo when the Prison Realm project is complete, but he declined the offer, but also left some wiggle room to potentially dress up as the fan-favorite Jujutsu wizard when all is said and done.
