Jedward are in the Eurovision final with a little help from Harry Potter magic

Jedward had a magical supporter who helped them reach the final of the Eurovision Song Contest.

Irish twins Jedward competed in the Eurovision They reached the semi-finals last night with “Waterline” and were one of ten acts that made it to the grand finale on Saturday in Azerbaijan.

They will represent Ireland at the Eurovision Song Contest for the second time, after finishing eighth with “Lipstick” in 2011.

Jedward’s fellow Irish star Evanna Lynch, who played Luna in the Harry Potter films, wished the boys good luck for the Eurovision semi-final, tweeting: “#VOTEIrelandEurovision Good luck @planetjedward!!!”

The boys replied: “@Evy_Lynch we are so happy to have all the magic and Harry Potter supporting us! Peace and love John and Edward.”

When Jedward found out they had made it to the final of the Eurovision Song Contest, they celebrated in true Jedward style, doing somersaults across the stage and jumping around.

Jedward confused Europe with the world and tweeted: “We are incredibly honoured to be rocking the world and we promise you wonderful and amazing things to come! JEPIC!”

British participant Engelbert Humperdinck has already made it to the final and after the semi-final show on Thursday, more countries will be added to the Eurovision Song Contest field.
