JAY – The annual Jay Day celebration returns on August 24, featuring 40 vendors, numerous activities, and food and drink options.
The Jay Day festivities will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the Jay Village Green. There will be live music, a clown, a magic show, a circus dance performance and free children’s activities throughout the day. The popular cake baking contest and additional games will also be part of the fun.
At the Amos and Julia Ward Theater, next to the Village Green, “Pooh’s Stick” will be performed at 6 p.m. by the children’s theater, organized by JEMS.
During the day there will be food from Dog Father, Two Jerks BBQ and craft beer and malt from Hex and Hop Brewery, as well as refreshments from New Vida and ice cream from Ding-A-Ling.
Forty vendors offer a wide selection of arts and crafts as well as food, baked goods and wellness services.
