The Cleveland Browns are removing their two offensive tackles, Jack Conklin and Jedrick Wills, from the physically unable to perform list, just in time to make difficult decisions and reduce their roster to 53 players.
Wills and Conklin, who both suffered season-ending knee injuries last year, have not practiced all summer as the Browns rotated every player they could find on their offensive line this preseason. Veteran Germain Ifedi even started at left tackle in the final preseason game against the Seattle Seahawks. Now they’re getting their backup back.
Conklin and Wills aren’t the only ones coming back, though, as five in total are coming off either the non-football injured list or the PUP list. Here are the guys the Browns are getting back just in time to prepare for their Week 1 clash at home with the Dallas Cowboys:
