A popular This Morning show has just announced wonderful baby news.
Baker and TV personality Juliet Sear is beaming with joy as her daughter Lydia, 23, gave birth to a baby boy weighing 5lb 11oz earlier this month. Juliet, who also has a son called George who is in the acting industry, shared the happy news in Lorraine Kelly’s recent Instagram post.
Lorraine, who is eagerly awaiting the arrival of her first grandchild, posted a beautiful photo of her daughter Rosie showing off her growing baby bump.
In the comments section of the post, Juliet excitedly shared, “So exciting!! We are grandparents today!! For the first time.”
Her announcement was met with a flood of congratulations from her fans, with one fan commenting: “@julietsear Congratulations to you all.”
Another added: “@julietsear congratulations to you and mom and dad. Being grandparents is the best.”
A third fan expressed his joy: “@julietsear This is wonderful! Congratulations and all the best to the new mom and dad, to you and your family and of course all the best to your first grandchild.”
One follower asked about her new caption: “@julietsear oh congratulations it’s lovely to be grandparents. Are you nanny or grandma or something else?” Lydia’s newborn was born in the early hours of August 3.
Earlier this year, Juliet announced that she was about to become a grandmother for the first time and said that Lydia was doing “really well”.
As reported by the Mirror, she spoke fondly of her eldest, saying: “She’s doing really well. She’s got her own flat, she’s a graphic designer and a visual artist. She’s having a baby in a few months.”
Meanwhile, the star is excited about the latest acting gig of her other daughter Ruby, who will be appearing in the Netflix series ‘The Gentlemen’. Taking to Instagram, the proud mum shared: “SO EXCITING our @rubysear is in the @netflixuk series @thegentlemen, COMING SOON! She plays Gabriella, we love the film.”
Ruby’s foray into acting follows her brother George, but despite her children being in the public eye, Juliet is unperturbed. Speaking to the Express, she revealed her relaxed approach: “Not really, because they’ve all been doing these things since they were so little.”
She continued: “They were always out and about, doing something, they were always out and about with their classes.”
“Ruby moved out at 16 to live alone in LA. The stories she’s told me since then are crazy.”
“You can’t worry because you have to let them go and hope they make the right decisions.”
