Isaiah Hartenstein teams up with Whistle to give an insight into his personal life

On Wednesday, Whistle continued its “Home Team” series, which brings together big-name athletes and their hometown teammates. The network gets to know them better through light-hearted competition and an entertaining question-and-answer segment, while also giving fans a glimpse into the athletes’ personal lives and relationships through storytelling.

This episode features newly signed Oklahoma City Thunder center Isaiah Hartenstein, who shows off his skills with his wife Kourtney Heartenstein. The Thunder signed the 7’4″ player from the New York Knicks in July with a three-year, $87 million contract. In this episode, OKC Thunder fans get their first glimpse into Hartenstein’s personality.

In this video, the two bombarded each other with quiz questions about themselves and their relationship and completed challenges along the way.

Hartenstein revealed that he contacted Kourtney via direct message to invite her on a date for their first meeting at a Denny’s in Houston, Texas.

The 7-foot-tall man revealed that Christmas is his favorite holiday. Kourtney endeared herself to Thunder fans by revealing that her favorite song Surfing with Swag which became the Thunder’s anthem during the 2024 NBA postseason and the organization even invited the group FLY to perform the hit at the Paycom Center.

The big man revealed himself to be a Michael Jordan fan and called him the greatest basketball player of all time, which could cause controversy in the Thunder locker room since superstar Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has publicly said Kobe Bryant is the greatest player of all time.

After losing the contest, the Oklahoma City center had to dress up as Zeus, the God of Thunder, and list his teammate’s positive qualities, creating some meme potential ahead of his first season in Bricktown.
