Is it worth pulling Mualani?

Mualani is available in the character event banner for the first half of version 5.0. She is the first character in Genshin Influence who can really exploit the vaporization reaction with a Hydro Trigger. With the right Pyro teammates, Mualani is incredibly strong. If you decide to vote for Mualani, you will not be disappointed by her damage.

In terms of raw damage, Mualani on a Vaporize team is about on par with Neuvillette on a Mono Hydro Furina team. Neuvillette is still unique in his ability to sustain himself through his own healing. Mualani cannot heal herself, but she can be useful for open world exploration.

Just keep your fingers crossed for Mualani if ​​you like her. If you’re just pulling for meta reasons, there are plenty of other strong DPS options to choose from. While Mualani may be the only character that specializes in forward-facing Vaporize teams, very few scenarios require this particular strategy.

Are Mualani’s Constellations worth it?

Mualani’s constellations increase her damage to varying degrees. Her first two constellations both provide noticeable increases. If you choose to move for Mualani’s constellations, I recommend stopping at C1 or C2. However, if you have to choose between constellations and their signature weapon, the signature weapon may be the better choice.

The rest of her constellations offer minor damage increases, with the exception of C6, which offers a massive damage boost. Only choose C6 Mualani if ​​you have the budget and you really like her; there is no content in Genshin Influence this is so difficult that C6 5-star characters are required.

Is Mualani’s weapon worth it?

Mualani’s signature 5-star weapon, Surf’s Up, is by far her best weapon. “Surf’s Up” increases damage more than “Constellation 1”. However, Constellation 1 and 2 together cause more damage than Surf’s Up alone.

Especially with the recent changes to the weapon banner, Surf’s Up offers better value for your Primordials. You only need one Fate Point to guarantee your desired weapon, and the weapon banner has a more generous pity system. If you have the Primordials to spare, I recommend choosing Mualani’s weapon over her Constellations.

Mualani is a complete unit with free-to-play weapons in C0. Her constellations and weapons make her stronger, but she is already strong enough. Don’t feel pressured to spend Primogems you don’t have and use the gacha system responsibly.
