Rumors of a delay in the film emerged after several Indian media outlets reported that Jio Studios had dropped out of the project.

The rumors intensified after the announcement video for Ahmed Khan’s directorial venture disappeared from their official YouTube channel.

However, the makers of the much-awaited film ‘Welcome To The Jungle’ have now put an end to such rumors by releasing a previously unseen picture from the shooting of the film with the cast, including Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar.

Indian media cited an official statement from the makers and reported that the Mumbai and Kashmir shooting schedule was already completed in August and the makers would begin the international marathon of the film in October.

In addition, “Welcome To The Jungle” director Ahmed Khan also reacted to the reports that the film was being shelved.

“There is no truth to these rumors. The film is running as planned and we will start the next leg of our international marathon program in October, for which my technical team has already set out on the first reconnaissance,” he said.Welcome to the jungle, Akshay Kumar
