The second part of the third season of “Bridgerton” will be released on Netflix on June 13

Shonda Rhimes gives a preview of the second part of Bridgerton.
At a performance on Today On Tuesday, June 4, the 54-year-old Emmy-nominated series creator revealed that the end of the series’ third season had touched her emotionally.
“We’re keeping it very secret, but I can say that it’s sexy and surprising in a lot of ways,” she said. “And I cried at the end, I found it very moving – and I don’t always cry. So I’m really into it.”
She added that the remaining episodes of the third season are “a beautiful story.”

Rhimes’ comments come after the trailer for the second half of the season was released on June 3. In the clip, Colin (Luke Newton) and Penelope (Nicola Coughlan) share the happy news of their surprise engagement, but trouble is brewing.
Eloise Bridgerton (Claudia Jessie) threatened to reveal Penelope’s biggest secret – that she is Lady Whistledown – to her brother. “He’ll find out,” Eloise warned her former best friend in the trailer after Penelope pleaded, “Eloise, please don’t tell him.”
“Unless he knows the real you, he can’t possibly love you,” Eloise says later in the clip, while Penelope insists, “Colin can’t discover my secret. Whistledown is power.”
Colin also became suspicious of his fiancée and asked Penelope: “Is there a secret you won’t tell me?”
“Colin, I can take care of myself,” Penelope replied, to which her future husband asked, “Then what use am I to you?”

At a performance on The Jennifer Hudson Show Last month, Rhimes said the third installment of the hit Netflix series was “probably one of our sexiest seasons yet.”
“Season 3 is good,” she said. “I love the couple we’re dealing with. We already know Colin and Penelope. We’re not bringing in anyone new. We’ve watched them all these seasons. And now we really get to see them come together. Plus, Lady Whistledown is finally getting her due and I think that’s great.”
“This season is really about wallflowers, about shy people coming out of their shells, and that’s exciting,” she continued.
When asked what inspiration the show’s hot scenes had brought to her, Rhymes replied that they were “a bit of a wish fulfillment” for her.

The first part of Bridgerton Season 3 is now streaming on Netflix and part 2 will be released on June 13th.
