I’ve had someone come in while I was in the stall and just shove a paper and pen under (the door). I’ll be honest, I wasn’t just peeing. I just wanted to break it down, I was like, ‘There’s something going on here. I’d actually back away, ma’am.’ So, I don’t know. I don’t know, that’s a bold move.
The “Since U Been Gone” singer laughed – in hindsight, not at the time – because man, that’s not only a bold move, it’s also pretty rude. Kind of like cornering someone! I really wonder how much this woman told people when she told the story of how she got Kelly Clarkson’s autograph.
After Kristen Wiig joked that Kelly Clarkson would at least be able to have a few free minutes to sign her name, American Idol Champion confirmed that she did indeed sign the autograph. This just sounds like the most awkward situation ever.
Carol Burnett’s strangest interaction with fans was quite similar. She recalled a little girl sticking her head under the booth and asking, “Are you Carol Burnett?” At least that was a child, Kelly Clarkson concluded, but still. Yuck! Amid laughter, the Emmy-winning talk show host rebuked her fans, shouting:
