NBA, but coded in GoT! If you’ve ever imagined what the NBA’s biggest stars would look like as dark fantasy characters straight out of Game of Thrones, today’s your lucky day.
A TikTok creator named Shadowsorcerers, who seems to focus on AI-generated graphics with a dark fantasy twist, recently went viral with his post about NBA stars. The clip has already garnered nearly 7 million views on X (formerly Twitter) in just a few hours, and it’s easy to see why – it’s absolutely sick.
LeBron James of the Los Angeles Lakers is depicted as a king sitting on a Game of Thrones-style Iron Throne. This is perhaps the most outstanding object of all. But there is much more to admire.
Anthony Edwards of the Minnesota Timberwolves is naturally surrounded by wolves, which is pretty cool.
Nikola Jokic of the Denver Nuggets is reimagined as the King of the North, similar to Jon Snow – a perfect match.

And as for Steph Curry of the Golden State Warriors, let’s just say he probably wishes he had that muscle definition too!

Kevin Durant of the Phoenix Suns is portrayed as a charming villain, while James Harden of the Los Angeles Clippers is portrayed as a little too meek even in this dark fantasy world, hanging out in an alternate reality pub.
And Boston Celtics forward Jayson Tatum, already facing criticism from fans for his performance at the 2024 Paris Olympics, may not be thrilled with his portrayal of the prince from Romeo and Juliet.
NBA fans found the whole thing incredibly funny and agreed that it was great.

This isn’t just random fun, though. If you’ve seen King’s Landing in Game of Thrones, you’re actually seeing Dubrovnik, Croatia. The city is stunning and perfectly captures the atmosphere of the medieval seaside town from the fantasy series.
When filming in locations such as Dubrovnik or Cáceres in Spain (where the King’s Landing scenes for House of the Dragon are shot), it is extremely important to avoid depicting modern buildings.
When the internet discovered a stunning basketball court overlooking Dubrovnik, it was inevitable that all the NBA jokes would follow. If only “House of the Dragon” was as cool as this TikTok post!
