How to install Fortnite on your iPhone or iPad outside the EU

Apple and Epic have been locked in a legal battle for four years, and after various restrictions and bans, Epic Games has finally released Fortnite in the EU for the iPhone and iPad. Apple and Epic went to court over the 30 percent fee cut in the App Store, and now that the company has made changes to its policies in the EU, Epic has seized the opportunity and brought Fortnite back to the iPhone and iPad.

Workaround to install Fortnite on your iPhone or iPad in countries outside the EU

Countries outside the EU also have the option to install Fortnite on iPhone, however, the process is not easy as there is a workaround. We recommend that you follow the steps carefully and precisely to install the title on your device.

As a prerequisite, you will first need to set up a paid Apple Developer account, which costs $99 per year. Note that you can use another workaround to install Fortnite on iPhone without a Developer account, but for now, we will focus on the method that requires one. If you have a Developer account, you can simply proceed with the steps given below.

Step 1: First, you need to IPA file for Fortnite, which you can later use to install the title.

(In case you don’t know, an IPA file is an archive of an app that is encrypted by default. To decrypt the file, you’ll need a jailbroken iOS device. However, users have been distributing their decrypted Fortnite IPA files online, so you can find one that best fits your device. The file isn’t too hard to find, but make sure it’s compatible with your iPhone or iPad.)

Step 2: Once you have done that, log in to your Apple Developer Account on the company website and visit the Account tab and then click Identifiers under Program resources.

Step 3: Click on the Plus button next to identifiers on the new page and register a new App IDWhen prompted to add the type, click App.

Step 4: On this page you will be asked Description and a Bundle ID. Remember the bundle ID as you will need it later. For example, you can add:com.xyzname.fortniteios.” You can also see the features under options.

Step 5: Now activate both External virtual addressing And Increased storage limitThis will prevent the app from crashing, so be sure to enable these options if you want the game to run smoothly.

Step 6: When everything is below, click Register. That’s all you need to do on the developer website.

Sideload Fortnite on iPhone or iPad

In this section you will need a computer to install Fortnite. You can do this through different platforms such as Side loadingwhich allows you to customize the bundle ID. Install the platform on your computer and connect your iPhone or iPad to it. You will be asked to enter your Apple ID, which is linked to the paid developer account. Then select your device and drag and drop the decrypted IPA file into the app. Click Progressive to continue.

Under “Advanced Options” deactivate Use automatic bundle ID and change the bundle ID to the one you selected Step 4. You don’t need to change any other settings and you can now click “Start”. You will need to select your team ID, but if you only have one team, the option will not appear on the screen. Now Fortnite should begin installing, which will take a minute or two, so sit back and relax. Once the process is complete, you can launch the title on your iPhone or iPad. Make sure Developer Mode is enabled to run the game from the Privacy and Security option in Settings.
