Holiday World & Splashin’ Safari welcomes the return of Kids World on August 17. This special event includes all of Holiday World & Splashin’ Safari’s rides and slides, as well as entertainment, activities and food specially selected for children.
“Kids World is back and we can’t wait to welcome families who want to experience all the thrills and entertainment,” said Lauren Crosby, Director of Events & Entertainment at Holiday World. “From stilt walkers and jugglers to Fun Zones and tasty treats, there’s something for kids of all ages to enjoy.”
Kids World runs Saturdays and Sundays from August 17th to September 14th and offers a special menu for the young and young at heart, including:
- Funnel Cake Flights
- Ice Cream Nachos
- Dirt Flurry (chocolate ice cream with Oreo sprinkles and gummy worms)
- Frozen Lemonade with Boba
- Character cookies with Holiday World mascots
- Pizza with three meats
- M&M Brownie
- And more!
In addition to Kids World, Holiday World’s newest event, Friday Night Live!, will take place on Friday, August 16, 23 and 30 from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. The event will feature live music from Backwoods Bluegrass and Happy New Month, as well as drink specials and night rides on Holiday World’s roller coasters and main attractions. Splashin’ Safari and select kids’ rides will be closed during Friday Night Live!.
Splashin’ Safari is open through September 14 and Saturdays and Sundays on Labor Day. Holiday World’s Happy Halloween Weekends begin September 21 and run weekends through October 27. Both parks will be closed on Sunday, September 15 for a private excursion.
