Have you seen her? 13-year-old missing in NKY

DRY RIDGE, Ky. (WXIX) – Have you seen her?

Grant County Emergency Management and the Grant County Sheriff’s Office are asking the public for help in locating a missing 13-year-old girl.

Elizabeth Kidwell ran out the back door of Revive Church at 2020 Taft Highway in Dry Ridge, Grant County Sheriff’s Deputy Todd Cummins tells FOX19 NOW.

She was at church with her foster parents. The search began early Sunday and will continue into the evening, he said.

The sheriff’s office conducted the search using drones, a helicopter and sniffer dogs.

They are in the process of getting the drones flying again, he said in a telephone interview at 7:30 p.m.

“It’s not a kidnapping. It’s a runaway. She’s 13, almost 14. We’re doing our best to find this young woman. We’ve done everything humanly possible to find her because she ran away from a church,” he said.

She has brown hair and brown eyes and was wearing black jeans and a grey hoodie.

Anyone with information regarding her whereabouts is asked to contact Kentucky State Police Post 6 at 859-428-1212 “immediately.”
