On August 27, 2024, Tom Felton shared a moment on Instagram from a charity cricket match where he faced his Harry Potter co-star. Matthew Lewiswho played Neville Longbottom. The game, called David Holmes Cricket Cup, ended in a thrilling final with Lewis’ team, Gryffindorand won by just one run. In an emotional video he shared on Instagram, he looked back on the 15 years since the first charity match, saying: “Over those 15 years, friends and family have come together in honour of me, which is incredible and has raised money for charity over the years, probably hundreds of thousands of pounds.” He also noted that Team Gryffindor now leads the match series with an 8-7 record following their recent win.
In November 2023 Daniel Radcliffe teamed up with David Holmes to create the HBO documentary The Boy Who Lived.
