“Harry Potter” star trolls Peter Dutton after Voldemort’s attack

The Dark Lord has risen and according to his fictional ally, he is the new leader of the Australian opposition.

Harry Potter star Jamie Waylett, who played Vincent Crabbe in the film series, has made a bizarre video in which he says he is sorry that Peter Dutton was “outed” as the villain Voldemort.

“Hopefully no one else finds out and we can take control and get stronger every day,” Mr Waylett said in a video that has since gone viral.

“Your time will come, sir. Your time will come. Our time will come.”

The new leader of the Liberal Party had to deny rumors last week that he was previously known by the nickname “He Who Must Not Be Named.”

This came after Labour MP Tanya Plibersek claimed he looked like Lord Voldemort.

“I think a lot of children who have seen a lot of Harry Potter films will be very frightened by what they see on TV at night,” she told Brisbane radio station 4BC.

“I say he looks a bit like Voldemort.”

Mr Dutton later revealed that he was “not bald by choice” and told Sydney radio 2GB that he had been diagnosed with a skin disease a few years ago.

“That’s just the reality of getting older,” he said.

Prime Minister Anthony Albanese responded to Ms Plibersek’s remark by saying it was “unacceptable” and Ms Plibersek apologised to Mr Dutton for the comment.

In the 40-second clip, posted on the Australian Instagram account of political satire friendlyjordies, the henchman of Harry Potter’s arch-enemy Draco Malfoy first stops to check whether he is alone.

“Hey Dutton, it’s Crabbe,” Mr. Waylett says into the camera before pointing to the Dark Mark on his left arm, a snake tattoo and symbol of Lord Voldemort’s followers, the Death Eaters.

“I’m sorry that Tanya outed you as Voldemort.

“The rest of the Slytherins came forward and told me. When I heard it, I thought I have to contact you and make this happen and clear this up, because no one can know our secret.

“I mean, no one can know you’re still here.

“As far as everyone is concerned, you know you are gone, but we know the truth, so our time will come, your time will come, sir.”

It is believed the words were part of a script proposal for a website called Cameo, where you can pay celebrities to record a personal message for you.

Mr. Waylett’s Cameo profile offers a personalized video shoutout for $97.

The actor played the gangster Crabbe in six of the eight Harry Potter films before he was caught for drug possession and later sentenced to two years in prison for his participation in the 2011 London riots.
