“Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions” finally gives fans of the popular franchise the chance to jump on their brooms and compete against each other on the Quidditch field.

Following the success of Hogwarts: Legacy, developer Portkey Games announced that it would once again collaborate with Warner Bros. Games to fulfill fans’ requests and create a free-to-play Quidditch game.

Iconic characters from the Harry Potter series are playable, including the Weasleys and Draco Malfoy, and a detailed game system allows players to learn all the positions of the fictional sport. In addition, Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions will be released on 3 September 2024, with multiple game modes.

Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions will launch with three game modes, each offering a unique gaming experience and allowing players to test their skills in different ways.

Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions will feature a career mode that can be played alone or with up to three friends in online co-op.

As the developers revealed, the game’s career mode will feature some iconic settings from the series, including “backyard battles at the Burrow, home of the Weasleys, to high-stakes showdowns at the Quidditch World Cup.”

Competitive PvP

The biggest attraction of Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions is the PvP mode, a “competitive online experience” where players can compete on the field against other Quidditch teams and test their skills.

While the developers have confirmed a ranking system for PvP mode, details on how this feature will work are still unknown.

The game includes an exhibition mode for those who want to familiarize themselves with the gameplay mechanics of Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions before jumping straight into competitive play.

You can choose your teams, the map, the difficulty level, and choose whether you want to play alone or in teams of up to three people in online co-op mode.

Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions will be released on September 3, 2024 for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S/X and PC.
