According to Sensor Tower, Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery has generated over $500 million in player spending worldwide since April 2018.

More than 50% of the total came from the US, followed by Germany, the UK and France. The US also leads the way in downloads, with Brazil and India in second and third place respectively.

Below are the key milestones (in terms of gross revenue) for Hogwarts Mystery:

These statistics are consistent with data from App Magic, which estimates Hogwarts Mystery’s total net revenue at $369.7 million. According to Sensor Tower, Hogwarts Mystery also became the highest-grossing adventure simulation title on iOS and Android in the first half of 2024. Its revenue is five times higher than that of its closest competitor, PAW Patrol Rescue World.

Hogwarts Mystery was the first official Harry Potter mobile game, and the new $500 million milestone cements its status as the franchise’s highest-grossing title, followed by Harry Potter: Magic Awakened, Zynga’s Harry Potter: Puzzles & Spells, and the now-closed Wizards Unite from Pokémon GO developer Niantic.
