A bus crashed into the Palace Theatre in London, where the hit play “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child” is being performed.
Shocking images from the scene of the accident show the damaged side of the building with the red London bus that crashed into the famous theater, destroying its front.
The accident is said to have occurred today around noon, when the line 19 bus drove onto the curb and then collided with the building.
The police have since confirmed that no one was injured.
However, it remains unclear whether the theatre was evacuated. MailOnline has contacted the Palace Theatre for comment.

It is believed that the accident occurred around midday today when bus number 19 drove onto the curb before colliding with the building

A statement from the Metropolitan Police said: “Police were called to reports of an accident in Shaftsbury Avenue, W1, at 1pm on Monday 19 August.”
“Officers found that a bus had hit a curb and collided with a building.”
“No one was injured in this incident.
“The crime scene is still on site and investigations into the circumstances are ongoing.”
