The Hancock County Veterans Service Office invites the public to the Hancock County Fair on Wednesday, August 28th.th for Veterans Day at the fair.
On 28 AugustthVeterans receive free admission with a valid state or federal military or veterans ID.
Veterans will also receive a $7 food voucher while supplies last. These vouchers can be redeemed at select food vendors at the fair.
There will be live music with a performance by the band Guitars For Vets – Findlay, OH at 3:00 p.m., there will be performances by reVerb from 3:30-5:15 p.m. and from 6:00-6:30 p.m., and the band Guitars for Vets will play some songs with reVerb during their sets.
Immediately following a brief ceremony at 5:15 p.m., there will also be a free dinner (pizza or sandwiches and salad) for veterans and their families.
There will also be donkey races at 7:00 p.m. in the North Stand. Proceeds from the donkey races will benefit the Flag City Honor Flight.
Hancock County Veterans Service Office staff will be at their booth in the Merchant’s Building for the remainder of the Hancock County Fair.
