After the original series ended in October 2023 after eight seasons, there is now another spin-off of the Indianapolis-set mother-daughter series “Good Bones” on HGTV.
After Mina Starsiak Hawk confirmed a falling out with her longtime boyfriend Cory Miller following the end of the show and reports of tension between Starsiak Hawk and her mother Karen E. Laine, fans thought last year would be the end of “Good Bones.”
Now the duo is back with a new miniseries on HGTV called Good Bones: New Beginnings. Although they share the screen, they are working on different projects in different states.

Sort of. HGTV is releasing a new miniseries called “Good Bones: New Beginnings.” It’s expected to be a spin-off like Laine’s 2022 project “Good Bones Better Yard.”
The series follows Starsiak Hawk and Laine on separate personal renovation projects in two different states: Indiana and North Carolina.
Starsiak Hawk is renovating a 5,000-square-foot lake house for her family in Martinsville, Indiana, while Laine is fixing up a 600-square-foot, 120-year-old beach bungalow in Wilmington, North Carolina, for herself and her poodle.
The show will air for three weeks.

According to Morgan County land records, Starsiak Hawk’s new vacation home is located on a private lake south of the White River in Martinsville, Indiana.

What happened in the latest episode of “Good Bones”?
In the first episode, Starsiak Hawk reflects on how sad it is that Bates Hendricks’ Two Chicks District Co. home goods store will close at the end of 2023, but that she still has hope for the future, TV Insider reported.
Starsiak Hawk also expressed excitement about the new Noblesville location, located at 957 Logan St. next to Noble Tea and Coffee Company. The store opened in late February.
The first episode focuses on Starsiak Hawk’s project and her immediate family, although the miniseries will cover both the mother and daughter’s projects.

When will the next episode of “Good Bones: New Beginnings” air?
The first episode aired on Wednesday, August 14th at 9pm EST on HGTV. The next episode will air on Wednesday, August 21st, and the final episode will air on Wednesday, August 28th.
Can I stream Good Bones: New Beginnings?
Max and Discovery Plus have streamed previous seasons of Good Bones, but at the time of release, Good Bones: New Beginnings was not yet available to stream on the platforms.
