Four companies with operations in Polk County are listed on the Inc. 5000, a list of the fastest-growing private companies in the country.
Ultra Cryo & Recovery, a family-owned, full-service cryotherapy wellness and recovery center with locations in Lakeland, Auburdnale and Davenport, ranks 279th on the list, showing three-year growth of 1,517%.
Curious Jane, a national franchise marketing agency based in Lakeland, ranked 1,085th on the list and has experienced 471% growth over the past three years, making it the first company to appear on the rankings.
Iceberg Air Conditioning and Heating, with offices in Lakeland and Winter Haven, ranks 1,142nd. Inc. reported three-year growth for the company of 447%.
AgAmerica, a financial services company based in Lakeland, ranks 2,750 and has seen 184% growth over the past three years.

Companies are ranked based on their percentage revenue growth from 2020 to 2023. To qualify, companies must have been founded and generated revenue by March 31, 2020, according to the Inc. website.
Companies must be based in the United States, private, for-profit, and independent, and cannot be subsidiaries or divisions of other companies. The minimum revenue for 2020 was $100,000 and for 2023, $2 million.
