At least four people have been killed and at least 17 injured, including a child, in Russian attacks across Ukraine over the past 24 hours, regional authorities said early on the morning of August 19.

Ukrainian air defenses shot down all eleven Shahed kamikaze drones that Moscow launched overnight from the Russian directions of Kursk and Primorsko-Akhtarsk, the Air Force reported.

In Donetsk OblastThree people were killed and nine injured in Russian attacks over the past day, reported Governor Vadym Filashkin.

In the attacks on Toretsk, Myrnohrad and Rozlyv, one person was killed and one injured in each settlement. Four people were injured in Novoukrainka, one in Kostiantynivka and one in Hirnyk, the governor said.

A 52-year-old woman was injured in a Russian attack on the town of Kupiansk. Kharkiv Oblast on August 18 at around 10 a.m., said Governor Oleh Syniehubov.

Russian attacks against Kherson Oblast According to Governor Oleksandr Prokudin, three people were injured last day. 49 houses, several schools, a shop and other buildings were damaged.

In Sumy OblastOne person was killed and three injured, including an 11-year-old child, in airstrikes on the Bilopillia community on August 18. On the same day, another civilian was injured in the bombing of the Yunakivka community, the regional military administration reported.

The oblasts of Cherkasy, Dnipropetrovsk, Kyiv, Luhansk, Vinnytsia, Mykolaiv and Zaporizhia were also attacked, but no casualties were reported.
