Fortnite is the undisputed king when it comes to crossovers! The free-to-play battle royale title has collaborated with every facet of pop culture under the sun, from Marvel to Stranger Things to music artists and much more!
The game’s crossover reign continues, as the latest update finally brings the much-desired Dragon Ball Crossover! Epic Games has released three new character skins from the popular anime. They’re all pretty phenomenal, but one in particular has caught everyone’s attention.
Fortnite gamers can’t get enough of the new Z-Fighter skins!
Recently, Dataminers have shown that Fortnite will receive some new Dragon Ball skinsand since this week they have already arrived in the game. Epic Games announced that three brand new skins from the popular anime have been added to the Battle Royale: Android 18, Android 18 and Trunks.
A clear fan favorite, Trunks is the son of Vegeta and Bulma from a future where Goku dies of a heart virus before the androids show up and eliminate the entire cast of Z Fighter.

The Trunks skin costs 2,000 V-Bucks and includes several goodies for the character. One of them is the “Charge” Emote that allows the character to transform into his iconic Super Saiyan form from the original series!
It’s clear that Epic Games put a lot of attention into developing the emote, because the transformation looks absolutely stunning! Players across various social media have been freaking out since Epic Games revealed the emote, and they’re obviously worried about their wallets now that the studio is maintaining incredible cosmetics.

It is worth noting that all new character skins look completely different in Dragon Ball Super in terms of their outfits. This means that Epic Games has even more scope to release new versions or alternate styles of these characters in the future!
Since players are constantly looking for different Z It won’t be surprising if this happens later as well, as there have been a lot of fighter outfits and variants lately.
Epic Games continues its phenomenal anime collaborations
While Fortnite has made a name for itself through its various collaborations and is one of the few games in the industry that has managed to integrate several popular anime without disappointing fans.
One of the most iconic we have ever seen was released in 2022 with the Dragon Ball Super Crossover. The franchise is considered the face of Japanese anime in the world.
Epic Games has taken the crossover experience even further by also bringing the Shinobi World and another Shonen manga featuring Naruto and famous characters from the village of Konoha! We even have a collaboration with Attack on Titan with well-known characters such as Eren Jaeger, Levi Ackerman and Mikasa Ackerman.
The studio has also released new generation franchises such as Jujutsu Kaisen, My Hero Academiaand much more for anime fans to have fun dressing up as their favorite characters.
With Epic Games, Dragon Ball Once again, it is clear that the studio wants to continue to focus on anime crossovers and offer players new, immersive experiences.
