Fortnite Season 4 will bring Marvel characters like Gwenpool and Doctor Doom into the game, as revealed at D23’s Disney Experiences Showcase last week. Leaks about Doctor Doom’s return to the game have proven true, and a major battle and player choices are part of the upcoming season.

Marvel characters like War Machine and unique Fortnite characters like Captain Jonesy are among those confirmed for Chapter 5, Season 4. New items and weapons are also available.

The next Fortnite season is called Absolute ruinand its Marvel mix is ​​just the latest collaboration from Epic Games, which has featured content from video games, movies, TV shows, artists and musicians in previous Fotnite seasons.

At the conclusion of Fortnite’s Season 3 live event, Pandora’s Box was unearthed beneath Redline Rig. A new trailer confirmed that Doctor Doom used the Redline Rig incident to essentially absorb the energy from Pandora’s Box. The trailer shows what appears to be a major battle with characters such as Gwenpool, War Machine, Peelverine,
Emma Frost, Captain Jonesy, Mysterio and Shuri.

Fortnite is also getting new items and weapons for players to try out in Season 4, including Dual Micro SMGs. The trailer also seems to tease new abilities like Captain America’s shield or War Machine’s arsenal, and Gwenpool appears to be using Iron Man’s rocket gear.

The new season starts on August 16th.

Epic plans to add a special Battle Pass quest in September that will allow players to unlock a new version of Doctor Doom when it releases.

The Disney Horizons Live stream from D23 will be available until August 16, with the presentation running on a continuous loop. To celebrate the announcements, all players who visit the island for 10 minutes will receive the Peelverine Plush Back Bling plus XP at a later date in September.
