According to an announcement released Wednesday, 16 players from the Florida football team are on the 2024 Reese’s Senior Bowl Watch List. The Gators who made the list include one graduate transfer, four redshirt seniors, seven seniors, three redshirt juniors and one junior.
The Orange and Blue have steadily increased their presence on the list over the past three years, earning six nominations in 2022 and nine in 2023 before nearly doubling this year. The NCAA transfer portal has provided Florida with more than half of the players named to this year’s honor roll.
This is the second year that all draft-eligible players will be added to the talent pool and the first year that players from younger years will be placed on the watch list. Shemar James is the only third-year player on Florida’s roster.
Over the course of its 75-year history, a total of 116 Gators have participated in the Senior Bowl.
