In a now deleted post (but without the quick reaction of the sharp-eyed LEGO HP fans), LEGO House Instagram account gave us a first glimpse into this year’s exclusive LEGO® Harry Potter Set. Not only are they giving a sneak peek of the official release, but they’re also promoting an exciting event where fans can meet some of the masterminds behind the magic. On September 5, 2024 from 3-5pm, you’ll have the chance to meet LEGO Harry Potter designers George Gilliatt, Santiago Carrillo and Peter Kjærgaard at a special book signing. Imagine getting your own Burrow set signed by the creators themselves!

While the official announcement is still under wraps, the unveiling of the LEGO House has caused a lot of excitement. Rumors suggest that the LEGO Harry Potter The Burrow Collectors’ Edition (76437) will be released on September 1, 2024 (perhaps for LEGO Insider members first), making it the perfect addition to your collection, just in time for back-to-school – or perhaps for a magical start to the new Hogwarts term!

In a twist that only the wizarding world could conjure up, LEGO House’s official Instagram post appears to have gone live a little earlier than planned. Jay’s Brick Blog noted that the post, which included a picture of George Gilliatt with the boxset, was online at around 9:45am BST but has since been removed. However, the cat – or in this case, the magical set – is already out of the bag.
