It’s official: Final Fantasy XVI will be released on PC next month in September, Square Enix has announced.

Final Fantasy XVI hits PC stores steam and the Epic Games Store on September 17, 2024 and a demo for the PC version is currently available on Steam.
The PC port will cost $50 for the base game and $70 for the complete edition, which includes all paid DLCs – Echoes of the Fallen and The Rising Tide. FFXVI’s PC release comes at a time when Square Enix’s total quarterly revenue has fallen to its lowest level in years, so this release should help boost the company’s profits in the second quarter (July – September) and well into the holiday season of the third quarter (October – December).
The publisher hasn’t revealed any details about the special features of the PC version of FFXVI, but the Steam listing confirms that HDR is supported. The PC spec requirements are also somewhat generous, but an SSD is required to play.
